Jeremy Shigemitsu is a Vancouver-based designer with a passion for architecture, nature, and visual storytelling. His background in the creative arts combined with a technical education contribute to his holistic approach to design.
Jeremy's work explores issues such as sustainability, nourishment, and capitalism, and has been recognized by several awards and scholarships. He pursues excellence in and outside academia, having worked at various architecture and design-build firms. Jeremy enjoys being outside, be it gardening, hiking, or snowboarding, and believes that these cultivate an understanding of the earth to which architecture is inextricably linked.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at the University of British Columbia.
